Espresso roasts are light to medium roasts specially developed for pressurized extractions. Our baristas use espresso machines for preparing the coffees. To a certain extend you also can use stove top brewers such as the Bialetti, however controlling the extraction is hard and therefore the results may vary strongly.
For classic espresso machines we recommend the following recipe as starting point:
Dose: 16-18 gram of coffee
Temperature: Around 94°C
Extraction time: 25 seconds
Beverage weight: 32-38 gram
Coffee should be enjoyed fresh and that's the reason why we don't stock any beans. If you order your filter coffee we collect all orders and send them to our roasters at given cut off dates. The get roasted and we deliver them to you as soon as possible.
