The Barn started roasting coffee in 2012 and was quickly established as one of the leading speciality coffee roasters in Germany. Their philosophy is to source and roast some of the best coffee available on the planet. In addition of having sustainability and traceability in mind they source the green coffee as direct as possible. The coffee bought by the Barn are only handpicked handpicked arabica coffee beans of speciality grading. Preferably from Micro-Farms that operate with a strong focus on detail and a passion to improve their product. As a principle the Barn doesn't blend any of our coffees in order to showcase the characteristics of a single coffee. The roast style is rather light to bring out the full flavour profile of a bean and not to change it. They aim is to produce clean and consistent coffee of highest quality.
